Welcome

Welcome to the world of Global Riders!

This site is a showcase of all the content from the Global Riders Network.

That being the case, visitors to this site may well see a lot more information and discussion than they are really interested in. It is recommended that visitors browse on a more localised partner site that has a limited amount of content. These sites are listed on the the Global Riders Network homepage.

That said, it's always interesting to see what's happening elsewhere in the world, so feel free to browse around.

Enjoy! Smiling

HI everyone,

I just wanted to jump on here and introduce myself, and also take the opportunity to say that I think the Gleckrock riders are awesome people, one of whom pretty much saved my week!

I only recently started mountain biking - bought a Giant ATX form Hadleys, rapidly realised its limitations and sold it a month later, upgrading to a full suspension bargain I found on Gumtree (Avanti Vapour 26.3 if you're interested) - purchased from a really nice helpful bloke.

Here is your chance to get your hands on one of these little devices without having to wait months/years before they are released to the general public.
What it has taught me is that after almost 20 years on a MTB, I still had no idea on how to tune a fork or rear shock.
I got that one a bit over a month ago and have done many tuning sessions to get my suspensions as close to optimum setup as it is possible (at least from a computer point of view).

It is very easy to setup. the app is free. it is compatible with most shocks (but not all).

Chinese carbon rims

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.
Below is a preview, click to read the full post

I'm just wondering if anyone has tried Chinese carbon rims from 3S bike?

I'm a tightarse so trying to salvage my spokes for the new wheel build. Light bicycle don't appear to have a wide rim (35-45mm internal) with a 595mm ERD, or close.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/252006586162?_trksid=...

These 42mm rims suit the needs of my wide tyres and the recycled spoke requirement, but I am having no luck finding independent product reviews.
