Welcome

Welcome to the world of Global Riders!

This site is a showcase of all the content from the Global Riders Network.

That being the case, visitors to this site may well see a lot more information and discussion than they are really interested in. It is recommended that visitors browse on a more localised partner site that has a limited amount of content. These sites are listed on the the Global Riders Network homepage.

That said, it's always interesting to see what's happening elsewhere in the world, so feel free to browse around.

Enjoy! Smiling

As new condition, has been ridden about 5 times since I purchased new for $3600 as I am more of a cross country rider and prefer my hard tail.

The specifications and components of this bike are far better than what you would get if you spent the equivalent amount on a new bike from Giant, kept inside its whole life this bike really does present as new condition, the chain hasn't even got dirty yet.

Racing this October Long Weekend - Beauie on Monday 3rd

Folks - this weekend's racing options centre on the best crit racing in Sydney on Monday 3rd October - yes it's Beauie.

With some of the old geezers away in Griffith for the National Masters, it's playtime for the young guns (your humble author excluded) to race at Beauie on Monday for some fast furious (but safe) crit racing.

This weekend will also see the CCCC boys and girls proudly wearing their new race kit which I must say looks pretty schmick.

Butchered!
Submitted by sikllama on Wed, 28/09/2016 - 23:14.
Council have absolutely butchered the trail and surrounding flora from the Penno Park intersection through to the Day St Epping entrance. The trail is now 10m wide in most places with trees/shrub decimated and litter all over the firetrail Sad Unclear if related to the recent works or a scheduled clearing for fire truck access but its unrecognisable!

Be careful when riding this section - it will eat derailleurs!

It's a long weekend so you have no excuses to chuck in a few more kms on Saturday. You'll even have a recovery day if you're racing at Beauie on Monday.

This ride has been analysed by our expert team to ensure all riders will be home in time to watch the Sydney Swans kick the Western Bull Dogs in the a.... at 2.30pm.

We'll be leaving Pierre's at 8.30 riding out to Calga via Bobbin Head. On the return journey we'll have coffee @ Road Warriors before returning to Hornsby Pool.

This is a med-fast pace club ride, averaging 32-34kph.Riders have a clear responsibility to ensure that they can handle this pace and ride in a safe manner. Experience in bunch riding is a must.
Riders who cannot keep to this sort of pace should try Le Reve or Guns and Roses rides to gain the necessary level of ride fitness and experience.

As a NSCC member, you must wear club kit in recognition of the support of our sponsors.Non NSCC riders are welcome to ride with us but after a couple of rides there is an expectation that you might sign up.

Looking for a few additional riding mates (3) for a 1 week supported tour of some of the best single in the South Island. Highlight would be riding the entire length of the Old Ghost Rd - 82kms of sweet single track. Lots more single track including St James, Blue Spur, Craigieburn, Hanmer Springs (hot springs) this would be a 1 week trip with start/finish in Christchurch. Approx costs are ~$2000 for the fully supported tour + airfare to NZ + walking around money.
