Welcome

Welcome to the world of Global Riders!

This site is a showcase of all the content from the Global Riders Network.

That being the case, visitors to this site may well see a lot more information and discussion than they are really interested in. It is recommended that visitors browse on a more localised partner site that has a limited amount of content. These sites are listed on the the Global Riders Network homepage.

That said, it's always interesting to see what's happening elsewhere in the world, so feel free to browse around.

Enjoy! Smiling

Battle of the Bridge Round 3 - Beauie Worlds Edition.

Sunday 21st brought the Battle of the Bridge to Beauemont Road and it was clearly to anyone that attended the race on theweekend that Alexis needs to head back to pre-school to learn to count. With each club assigned 8 riders per club per grade as there was a sea of smurf blue, with MWCC entering 17 riders into B Grade alone. Suvelo had a good strong contingent, while RBCC must of got lost somewhere heading north as they struggled to hit double figures.

For Sale: 2011 Trek Elite 9.9 SSL 26" hardtail

Price:
1,000.00

Hi Folks,
Sadly its time for this race weapon to move to a new home. It's just not getting any use with me any longer.

2011 Trek Elite 9.9 SSL.
26" cross country racing bike.
Size is large (19 - 21").

It was never built for comfort. It was built to go fast.

It looks just like the showroom photo attached, but it's a little bit more loved, the bars and seat are different, and the tyres are different. Can go through a few options for any of those for the buyer.

Fox RL100 fork was replaced with brand new 2 years ago and barely ridden since.

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Meeting Point:

Hornsby Pool

For all you die hard distance riders THIS IS THE BIG ONE. If you're up for the challenge we're going to try and do a return ride to Newcastle and back. A total of 300km. Actually 308km but who's counting. On the way back we'll be riding back via the Newcastle rail line. So if fatigue sets in (or sanity engages) you can, with respect, catch a train back to Hornsby.

2016-2017 Tuesday night racing. Rydal

Tuesday Night Racing at Rydal.

It's bunch of fun

We are fairly relaxed, A grade just means you do more laps, and we encourage every one to have a go.

We don't have podiums or prizes so it's all about getting out there and competing against your own time and your mates and then laughing about it at the BBQ afterwards.

So don't be intimidated by the "race" tag. We all just go out to do our best.

Doing the higher grade with more laps will gain you more series points.

There is a shorter track for juniors when we run the longer loops
