Our club - with a proud racing tradition - wishes our representatives at this week's National Road Championships in Ballarat, all the very best.
This year we have no fewer than 5 riders in the road disciplines of Criterium and Road Race - all in the men's U23 category - showing that the club's future is bright with all these riders at the National pinnacle of racing.

This year's field (in alpha order) is:

Harrison Bailey (GPM Stultz)
- criterium and road race
- Harrison is in awesome form; most recently winning the Rob Hodgson Memorial Race and also a stage winner at the Tour of Tasmania
- watch for Harrison making big moves on a punchy course if the peloton stays together

Angus Calder (Nero Racing)
- road race
- Angus is arguably the most dedicated trainer in the business and this year has shown great form, bossing the West Head RR
- Angus's power to weight ratio will see him gain big advantage on the many loops around Mount Bunningyong
[sorry about the photo Angus]

Tom Green (GMP Stultz)
- criterium and road race
- Tom's phenomenal 2017 season has seen his selection in the elite French squad under Christian Magimel
- Tom will make short work of the climbs and look for him powering through the field and creating havoc in the field

Dan Newman (AMR Renault)
- criterium and road race
- Dan is such a talented rider with a great turn of speed
- watch out for Dan in a sprint finish as on the day, he can do anything

Michael Potter (Aust Cycling Academy)
- criterium and road race
- Michael's stunning NSW U23 road race win brought him national recognition and a spot in the new Aust Cycling Academy squad for emerging talent
- he is virtually unbeatable in the Sydney race scene and we hope we will see plenty #potterpower in Ballarat

The club is very proud of all you guys and wishes you all the best this week
