NSCC Women's Ride

Meeting Point: 

Hornsby Pool

In this edition of our women's ride we are heading towards Warriewood! We'll be leaving Hornsby pool at 7AM this time and heading towards St. Ives via Pentecost. Then we'll take MV Road, then McCarr's Creek Road towards Warriewood where we'll stop for coffee. Round trip ~70km.

Option to start in St. Ives across from Pattison's for those interested in a shorter route.

Meeting Point: 

Hornsby Pool

In this edition of NSCC Women's Ride we're going north! We'll keep the ride together with own pace up the climbs where we wait at the top.

We'll head up the Old Pacific Highway through Berowra, on to Mt White and Calga.
Then a cracking descent to Mooney Mooney Creek and up the other side past the Reptile Park. Next up a descent into Gosford and along Brisbane Water Drive with beaut views.
We'll finish up with a quick look at the ocean at Ettalong (Instagram photo opportunity!) and then into "Coast" for coffee and eats.

Meet at Hornsby pool and we'll take on Galston Gorge and then Berowra Waters. Coffee in Berowra before making our way back either via Bobbin Head for those looking for extra kms, or directly back.

Saturday mornings 6:20am
This ride is intended to be the stepping stone to El Presidente, for graduates of Guns & Roses who have attained the necessary pace and bunch skills to move up but are not quite ready to take on the full El Presidente pace.

Le Reve riders are now required to hold current NSCC/Cycling Australia membership for insurance reasons (please bring your CA card to the ride start).
Club members are required to wear full club kit and represent the club in a safe and positive manner.

This is a med-fast pace club ride,averaging 30-32 kph.Riders have a clear responsibility to ensure that they can handle this pace and ride in a safe manner. Experience in bunch riding is a must.
Riders who cannot keep to this sort of pace should try Le Reve or Guns and Roses rides to gain the necessary level of ride fitness and experience.

As a NSCC member, you must wear club kit in recognition of the support of our sponsors.Non NSCC riders are welcome to ride with us but after a couple of rides there is an expectation that you might sign up.

Meeting Point: 

Hornsby Pool

Let's get together and ride through the gorges! Meet at Hornsby Pool for a 6:30 start.

We'll go through Galston Gorge and Berowra Waters. We'll plan to have coffee in Berowra. Those interested in the shorter option (~45km) will head back to Hornsby directly. Those interested in the longer option (~60km) will add on the third gorge, Bobbin Head, before finishing in Hornsby.
