Another charity ride, Pratiwi has talked me into this again. See the site for more details:

http://www.springcycle.com.au/

The route is pretty much flat as a pancake.

Update: Sorry folk, but due to slacker newbie friends I can't make this 'til 8am now. Don't let this put you off an earlier start though. I had imagined we probably wouldn't all end up riding together anyhow as my newbies will be a bit sloooooow Sad

With less than a month to the Angry Doctor and 2 months to the 24hr, a few 'demanding' rides are in order.

Steve came up with this beauty of a route:
Head through Galston Gorge and onto Berowra Waters & up onto the Old Pacific Highway. Then head to Mooney Mooney road collapse and return to Hornsby via Bobbin Head. 137km approx.

Looking to ride north up the old pacific hwy from Hornsby, we will plan to ride as far as the Calga intersection. Depending on numbers & how everyone is feeling we may go a little further.

This probably wont be a fast ride because of the lack of riding some of us have done lately but it will be at a moderate pace.

We will be riding as a group so no one gets left behind & we will also regroup at the top of every climb.

Bring some $$$ along too as we may stop at the 'Pie In The Sky' on the way back Smiling

The first official road ride on NoBMoB!

This is a fairly straightforward ride from Hornsby to Calga and back, all via the Old Pacific Highway. It's about 80kms, depending on whose speedometer you look at... Cool
