This looks sick.

i am pretty keen. I only have a 120 mm travel bike but I am keen to go.

According to the website low travel bikes are fine as there is A and B lines.

This is where they have held a handgliding championship!

We should form a northen beach posse to convoy there.

Cheers

Join the CareFlight Woodford to Glenbrook Classic 2014 and run or ride the Oaks Fire Trail through the beautiful Blue Mountains National Park from the town of Woodford down to the Euroka Clearing near Glenbrook.

Covering 25km of undulating bushland, the trail is incredibly scenic and a must for keen mountain bikers and trail runners. Participants are supported the full length of the track by Rural Fire Service crews stationed along the way, providing First Aid and drinks. A CareFlight doctor and St John Ambulance volunteers will also be in support.

Kessel run - Camden River

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

My first attempt at this gem and crashed twice on a slippery foot bridge and ended down in a gully and in the creek, the other on a slippery log and ended up over the handle bars. The day was good a little hot but ended up very humid. Which was evident as a storm hit the area tonight.

I'll rate this one for Newbies at a 8/10, 10 being the most extreme, and that because it was damp and slippery. Your legs will burn from this one. Will do it again when its dried right out and see the difference.

Mountain Bike Park Feasibility Survey

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.
Below is a preview, click to read the full post

The purpose of this survey is to determine the sustainability of a not-for-profit, fully facilitated Mountain Bike Park operated in southern NSW.
The initial plan for the mountain bike park would consist of single track and cross country loops to maintained downhill runs and free ride terrain. Flowing machine made and technical runs, accommodating from beginner to expert abilities. An all day shuttle/lift service will be provided for riders back to the top of runs for continuous gravity fed riding.
The park would allow for weekend camp stay and provide shower and toilet amenities.
